I have been teaching Reiki since 2009 and I love watching my students ‘waking-up’ and embarking on their Reiki-journey. I feel hugely blessed, when chosen by someone to be their teacher and to be there to guide and support them. I love all their many questions because I remember what it felt like, at the beginning, when it seemed like there was just too much to believe and trust.
During teaching, I share my own Reiki-experiences and spiritual-beliefs whilst reminding students that their journey will be unique to them and that curiosity and openness are a good approach to whatever Reiki-adventures lie ahead of them.
Reiki-students go through a special initiation which ‘attunes’ them to Reiki-energy. Over time, this connection is improved through practice and using the Reiki-energy on themselves (self -healing) Like meditation, it will always be Reiki-practice because there is no Reiki-perfect.
Many people train at Level 1 for their own personal-development and stress-management and that is what I thought I was doing more than a decade ago…but the Universe knew me better than I knew myself.
